I have just stumbled across an awesome website called Free Rice managed by the World Food Programme. It is an online vocabulary game and for every word you get right, 10 grains of rice are donated through the World Food Programme to people who are hungry. The World Food Programme is the largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide. In emergency situations such as war, conflict and natural disasters the WFP will provide food to those in need.
