Legal and General have started a two week collaboration with Shelter, donating £1 when people tweet a comment answering 'Why is your home important to you?' on #everydaymatters or when you retweet or favourite their tweet. Such a great collaboration and I hope they raise a lot of money for Shelter. I have just tweeted my response and it only takes a minute!
Shelter is an amazing housing charity that supports people who are experiencing homelessness or housing issues by their helpline and website. Shelter also campaign on a number of issues such as bad housing, youth homelessness, providing a safety net for people who experience financial difficulties, building affordable housing and regulating the private rented sector. For example, 1.6 million children live in housing that is overcrowded, temporary or run down. Bad housing has a huge impact on children's lives. Shelter is campaigning for change and better housing for all.
