Making Sick Kids Smile

 Day 8

Imagine being able to put a smile on a sick child's face. This is what Post Pals is all about.

It is an amazing website and I can't believe I only found out about it the other day looking through the 'Freeconomy' website. It is such a brilliant idea! The website lists a number of sick children around the country who would like to receive post and/or gifts. All of the pictures on the website made my heart melt so it was difficult to choose who the recipient was to be. However, I chose Phoebe.

Phoebe has chronic renal failure. She has had a lot of health problems in her short life and apparently is still always smiling. Her father donated his kidney to her two years ago and things are going well. You can read more about Phoebe and the other children at http://www.postpals.co.uk

Phoebe loves Mickey and Minnie mouse, stickers, Peppa pig, books and bright colours. Her sibling Libby loves drawing, Hello Kitty and pretty things for her hair. Let's hope they like the little gifts and the daft jokes I am going to send them.
