Just For The Love Of It

Day 7

I have been a member of the Freeconomy community for a while now and have been eager to get involved. It's a community in which people offer help, skills and items for loan or donation with no money changing hands. Some people will request a skill and will give something back to the person in return for their time and expertise. The aim is to get people to help others in their communities and bring these communities together. This community is inspired by a chap called Mark Boyle who spent a year without money and wrote about it; a fantastic read: Moneyless Man: A Year of Freeconomic. See the book here for free: http://www.moneylessmanifesto.org/the-moneyless-man-book

I have just looked and there are 184 freeconomists within a 3 mile radius of my home - amazing! See here for freeconomists near to you: http://www.justfortheloveofit.org

I am taking annual leave in a couple of weeks and have decided to offer my help out to the community.

I have posted on justfortheloveofit.org and offered my time out to people. I have suggested that I can to do errands, odd jobs, dog walk, visit or help an elderly person or meet a freeconomist and do something fun together.

Really excited to see what comes back......
