Welcome to My Kindness Movement

Welcome! This blog is about following my journey to become kinder. The mission is to perform random acts of kindness whenever and wherever I can. I hope you will contribute with comments and suggestions, as well as your own kindness experiences.

A Helping Hand

Day 10

It became apparent to me today that this project is making me acutely aware of all the opportunities to be kind everywhere I go. I am 'seeing kind' at the moment.

Today I helped a lovely old chap by carrying his shopping to his taxi. He used the phrase, "How kind of you." This act literally took two minutes of my time and made things easier for him.

This evening I noticed a man had broken down opposite my house. While I could not assist him in changing his car tyre, (I think that this is a skill I may have to acquire) I offered him whatever assistance I could. I ended up making him a cup of tea, it's freezing out there!

So there are opportunities to be kind everywhere you look.

The Dalai Lama once said,

"Be kind wherever possible. It is always possible."
