I have just discovered a great website created by the artist Michael
Landy - Art on the Underground. This site encourages people that use the
London underground to share stories of kindness that they have
witnessed or have been part of.... amazing...... I have really loved
reading through the very inspirational and heart warming stories. One
stands out so far....
"We
once got a homeless man off one of the last trains. It was about one
o'clock in the morning, in the middle of winter. He was standing there
with bare feet, so I went into the office, got some boots I had and gave
them to him. There was a woman outside of the station who was waiting
for a taxi. She had these long pink socks on and she took them off and
gave them to him too."
